Survey of the Southeastern Region Party Committee Base
Finding military base relics of the resistance war period is very important. It not only commemorates the merits of our ancestors, but also has an educational purpose after renovating the relics found. Bach Viet Company conducted a Survey of the Southeast Region Party Committee Base in War Zone D.
Surveying and mapping the location of relics of the Southeastern Region Party Committee
Location survey and search:
- From 11023’59’ to 11024’68’ North latitude
- From 107002’99’ to 107004’27’ East longitude
Shelter systems, trenches, Hoang Cam kitchens, water wells were found in plot 4, sub-area 142, Cay Gui Ranger Station of the Conservation Area. Because these locations are located deep in the forest, over a long period of time, some vestiges have become degraded and damaged.

Searching for suggestions from the veterans.
Bach Viet, Provincial Military Command, Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Vinh Cuu District People’s Committee organized the search, placed landmarks and drew maps.
Some search results
A number of locations with nameplates of departments under the Eastern Party Committee and the search locations were about 04km from the center of the Party Committee Monument were found. Detail:
- At the first location: away from the center of the Eastern Party Committee to the East is a sign stating the Eastern Civil Medicine Committee with a cement board with peeling paint written on it, and there are also bomb craters all around
- At the second location: about 700m west of the first location, there is an illegible faded sign according to the previous relic zoning plan, which was a board marking the location of the Front Committee and unions.
- At the third location: about 500m from the second location is the Board of Military Affairs; 30m from the table, the hole was discovered to be about 9m deep and 1m wide. Looking down from above, there was a horizontal niche 0.8m high and 0.8m wide, suspected to be a tunnel. a large bomb crater.
- At the fourth location: About 1km from the third location, a circular well was discovered, about 1.2m in diameter, 6m deep, currently without water. It was determined that this well was dug by soldiers to get water for water. living in the resistance, 70m to the north there is a stream that has no water in the dry season; 50m southwest of the well, two arc-shaped excavations in the style of protective trenches were discovered, about 40m apart.
- At the fifth position: is the sign stating the Party School of the Southeast Region; about 700m northeast of the well.
